Thankful 9

My sister Megan.

My amazing oldest sister Megan threw me a baby shower on Saturday, and it was such a blast.  Megan has one of the biggest hearts I know.  Family means so much to her.  I feel so lucky to have her as one of my big sisters!  She put so much work into the shower, and it was beautiful.  I feel so blessed to have her in my life.  When I first moved to Utah, Megan took me under her wing and made sure I was taken care of.  I got homesick a lot that first year (even the second year!), but I was so glad I had Megan close by!  I remember being little and loving when my older, cooler, beautiful sisters hung out with me or spent time with me.  To say I adored them is an understatement.  I idolized them!  I wanted to be just like them and still do!

There really is nothing like family.  And something really special about sisters.  I love all my sisters so much.  The Lord really knew what he was doing when he sent me all those beauties!  All my sisters have big hearts and set such wonderful examples to me.  Each contributes something special to my life in a way I can't describe...they really are some of my greatest friends.  I love them for who they are, and I know they feel the same about me.  Even if we're far apart or don't get to see each other or chat as often as we would like, I always feel close to them and think of them daily.
